Our Mission

The mission of the North County High School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive delivery system of services that contributes to the development of each student’s academic, career, and personal/social growth through collaboration with faculty, staff, parents, and community partners.

Our services for this delivery system include:

• Academic planning, monitoring, and advisement;

• Parent conferencing and information sessions;

• Career and post-secondary planning;

• Individual and group counseling;

• Conflict/resolution peer counseling;

• Program assessment support: HAS, Bridge, SAT, PSAT, ACT, ACCUPLACER, etc.
